New Layout
May 08, 2008
Brent made this illustration for me and I couldn’t help but add some things to it and use it as a new layout. I haven’t worked so hard in a layout before, it was driving me insane. It’s not valid because the twitter script is horrendous but what can ya do.
There will be a couple of tweaks here and there since I just put it up. Some things might be out of place, etc. so give me some time to get everything right. If anything looks off in your browser/resolution please send me an e-mail so that I can get it fixed a.s.a.p.
I added some blog entries to the writing subpage so that they’re easily accessible. I’ve also updated my links, so check those out.
Have a great weekend!
Interesting Links Pt. 4
April 05, 2008
I’ve accumulated a lot of links the past couple of weeks. To see my other Interesting Links posts, look under the “Interesting” category (I know, shocker) found here.
Here are some of my favorites:
- “Where is my Faith”: Mother Teresa and Suffering - A very interesting blog on Mother Teresa, and if she was the saint we all believed her to be. (Spoiler: She wasn’t.)
- TAO TE CHING - I just wanted to share this because dear god, could a book have any more chapters?!
- Letter to My Body - A very personal, inspiring, letter on insecurities and self-worth.
- 63 Must Have Grunge Fonts - For those who are participating in the new grunge trend.
- Cutest Kitten - Cutest. Kitten. Ever.
- Deer in the Yard - I’d love to hang out with deer, I won’t even lie.
- 9 Peopel Who Did It Anyway - Super inspiring. Makes me kick myself in the head for everytime I complained I couldn’t do something.
- Save Polaroid - Polaroid will be discontinuing Polaroid film next year. Don’t let them!
- 100 Great Artists at Etsy - Really great artists in this list.
- The 5 Most Badass Presidents of All-Time - Theodore Roosevelt is my favorite <3
- 10 Questions Every Blogger Should Ask Themselves Before Posting - Very useful for bloggers.
- Frida Kahlo - A great article on Frida Kahlo from the New York Times complete with a slideshow of some of her paintings.
Also, I added another parody site in the extras section. Please don’t check that little section out if you’re easily offended. I have no energy to pretend to care or be apologetic at the moment. You see, I’ve been stuffing myself for 3 days straight, and all I have strength for is to sit on my ass. Right now that section is titled Mini-Projects, but I’m not sure I’m digging that. Have any ideas?
Oh! And I also added another little section at the footer with my latest twitter updates, my latest delicious bookmarks, and some of my favorite links.
