New Layout Featuring an Owl

Not too fond of the readability of this comment form, though *hint hint* XD

eee, and more padding between the edges of the white area and the text would be great.

And the lists in the link section - the bullets are currently overlapping into the left hand sidebar.

Sorry to be all critiq-y on your ass. I usually just ignore these things, but I felt like mentioning them because I like this layout so much overall :P

I like the color choice a lot not too fond of the owl (but that’s just personal preference). I think your site title should be larger, after all it’s important to know where people are.

And I agree with Rose, more padding on the right, inside the white rectangle.

I like the owl, he’s very cool. Maybe he hatched out of the Easter eggs on your last layout..!?

I love the owl, and I love this combo of green and brown! I think the text is too small and the navigation is too small (and I tried to resize it but it wouldn’t work) but other than that, it is perfect. (firefox)

Oh super cute! I love the colors. The owl is adorable. And I really like the solid sidebar on one side with the polka dot pattern on the other side.. it’s a nice contrast.

That’s an adorable owl! I really do like the shades of green used, though at resolution 1280x1024, the amount of green on the sides does make it a little searing. But I understand the need to cater to lower resolutions.

I really like the new layout! The owl and the colors work really well together.  The only thing I don’t so much like is the polka-dots on the right.  I think it might look better if it was polka-dots on both sides or solid on both sides.  Just personal preference though :)

The main content area needs more padding and maybe this is just an IE problem but your paragraphs are all smooshed up (e.g need more padding/margin/whatever.)

Apart from that I like it a lot!

This might be my favourite layout of yours that I’ve seen. Although that bird one was really nice....anyway, I love it so much! Brent is really talented.

I love this layout :) The alignment, setup, and dotted background are awesome, not to mention the cute owl. I like the speech bubble with the site name, no matter how small it is :P

Just a little thing that I’ve noticed in your past few layouts—it’s not really clear what each “Posted by...” corresponds to, since they all kind of float between comments. The fact that “Posted by Sarai...” is the same alignment and colour as the signature for each comment keeps making me think that you’re the first commenter on your own entry XD
