So, new layout. Featuring my bird, Leopold. The kickass illustration was made by Brent and I loved it, so I decided to blind you all with this little fluid piece.
I have to admit I debated on whether I should add a special Leopold section to my about page, with some pictures, history, etc, but then I decided that a) that would take time, b) that would take time, and c) I don’t have time.
As the year draws to a close I see lots of people blogging about resolutions and doing year reviews, and while that’s all good and dandy, I find myself not giving a shit. I don’t know why… I love lists, and reading about changes, and things like that but this year I feel like most people will break their resolutions within a week, or I won’t hear of their progress, or anything like that. Or maybe I just need to take this stick out of my ass.
Next year I’m planning to take a very big step: moving out on my own. Getting myself settled, getting an apartment (possibly with my best friend <3), living in a new city, and starting fresh. Although there are tough times looming ahead for me, I’m pretty excited. I need a change, and I need it very soon.
Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely holiday. Here’s to a new year full of changes.
