Hi, my weekend was better than yours.
November 19, 2007 · Filed under: Personal.
This is why:
* Went to the National History Museum and saw tons of cool things,
* Went to an Art Museum to see an Impressionist exhibit (nothing like seeing a Picasso painting face to face),
* Went hiking,
* Watched movies,
* Ate,
* Browsed for furniture,
* Laughed (a lot),
* And best of all: I did all of this with my favorite person ever.
You can see some pictures here. There’s more, but I’m lazy.
I honestly wish everyone could experience what I did this weekend. I was very sad to see my trip end (still am, actually). I needed this trip more than I thought I did. It wasn’t till it actually ended, when I was in the car driving towards the airport, that I realized how much I was going to miss it. Miss waking up next to my best friend, miss joking around, miss being amazingly morbid, miss watching movies… I was going to miss doing regular things with an extraordinary person.
I advise everyone to go out and get a soulmate right now. Just saying.
Oh and yeah, I have more things to talk about than just gushing about my weekend. Sort of. Today was my first day at work. Eight hours spent walking around sorting clothes, filling out paperwork, and getting to know my co-workers. It went by really fast, and the people are nice. I’m trying not to jinx myself at this point.
Have a good Thanksgiving everyone! I have lots to be thankful for this year. I’ll blog about that later because I’ve gushed enough for a day, methinks.
